The terms for using the BLACKBOOK websites and joining the waitlist, including the waitlist offer for those who join by 31 December 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the BLACKBOOK websites, including blackbookapp.co and b2b.blackbookapp.co, and to the waitlist. The websites are run by BLACKBOOK HOLDINGS Limited, incorporated in the Dubai International Financial Centre under DIFC Law No. 5 of 2018, registered number 11281, and its related company Black Book Holdings Pty Ltd, ACN 646 293 316 (“BLACKBOOK”, “we”, “us”). By using the websites you agree to these terms.
The BLACKBOOK app will have its own terms, which you will be asked to accept when you create an account.
2. BLACKBOOK before launch
BLACKBOOK is in development. It goes live in the UAE in 2027, with the rest of the world to follow. The waitlist is open to everyone, anywhere, but the app will be available in the UAE first, and joining the waitlist does not guarantee access by a particular date or in a particular country.
The places, prices, availability, offers, plans and app screens shown on the websites are examples of how BLACKBOOK works. They are not offers to sell, and they are confirmed in the app at launch. Businesses named on the websites are shown for illustration and are not partners of BLACKBOOK unless we say so.
3. The waitlist offer
If you join the waitlist by 23:59 UAE time on 31 December 2026, your first 12 months of Insider membership are free when BLACKBOOK becomes available to you. Insider is priced at US$99 a year, or the equivalent in your local currency (AED 364 in the UAE).
- One offer per person, linked to the email address you joined with.
- The 12 months start when you activate Insider in the app, which you can do from the day BLACKBOOK is available where you are.
- The offer cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or combined with another Insider offer.
- After 12 months, Insider continues only if you choose to pay for it. We will remind you before the free period ends.
- We may withdraw the offer from entries that are duplicated, automated or made in someone else’s name.
4. Merchants and partners
Pricing, waitlist terms and product descriptions on the partners website are a guide. Any service we provide to a business is governed by a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over anything on the websites.
5. Using the websites
You may use the websites for your own information and to contact us. Please do not copy, scrape or resell their content, attempt to get into parts of the websites or our systems that are not open to you, interfere with how they work, or submit forms on behalf of someone else without their permission.
6. Brochures, papers and documents
Documents we send you are for your own use in considering BLACKBOOK. Please do not publish them or share them outside your organisation without asking us. The link we send works for seven days.
7. Our content
The websites, the BLACKBOOK name and marks, the app screens, the text, the design and the photography we commissioned belong to BLACKBOOK or to those who licensed them to us. Some photographs are used under licence from their photographers, who are credited where they appear.
8. Links to other sites
The websites link to other sites, such as a venue’s own site, a map or a calendar booking page. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.
9. No warranties
We work to keep the websites accurate and available, but they are provided as they are, and we do not promise that they will always be available, error-free or up to date. Nothing on the websites is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
10. Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data, arising from your use of the websites. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes
We may change these terms as BLACKBOOK develops. The latest version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre, and the DIFC Courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, you keep any protection the law of the country you live in gives you.
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@blackbookapp.co.
